Experienced Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic

PURPOSE (why the role exists)

Diagnose, service, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Provide customers with high-quality, professional services that lead to new referrals and repeat business.

Must complete a vehicle maintenance inspection process on all vehicles based on Motorists Assurance Program Guidelines (MAP).

Wages vary between $16.00-$35.00 per flag hour based on experience and ASE Certifications

Applicants must have min 3 years verifiable current automotive service experience.

Experienced Automotive Service Advisor

PURPOSE (why the role exists)

Serve as the main customer contact, consulting with vehicle owners to communicate accurate, reliable, trusted services at profitable margins. Develop the auto center’s reputation as a best-in-class facility, leading to repeat business and referrals.

• Process and communicate all needed services to customers in a courteous, efficient, and effective manner
• Greet customers warmly; record, verify and accurately update customer details (address, phone, email, …) and vehicle details (VIN, make, model, year …) in computer system.
• Accurately record customer descriptions of repair problems and needs; offer complementary inspection (VMI).
• Review vehicle maintenance/service records; suggest appropriate maintenance plans or repairs.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage documents; explain provisions and exclusions to customer; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Contact national accounts, government accounts, or warranty companies to obtain pre-approval of work covered under agreements; submit necessary information to entities to ensure timely payment.
• Clarify and communicate work estimates to customers, obtain customer approval/signature.
• Prepare and update ROs in computer systems to accurately describe symptoms or problems; causes; repairs or services required; and work performed.
• Process/post A/P invoices for parts and supplies; process credits for part returns and core returns.
• Follow up with customers (phone/text/email) to ensure service work was performed to their satisfaction.
